Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in between, we are now ready for takeoff to MOLO (Mark Solo) International Airport. Bearpeu Airlines welcomes you aboard Flight DREAM127 to Mark Lee City!
On Friday, March 14, SM Entertainment made an unconventional announcement, revealing the album title and scheduler for NCT Mark’s first solo album, The Firstfruit. This is set to drop on April 7, 2025, at 6 PM KST.

After debuting for nine years as an idol, juggling three groups, MARK is finally making his solo debut with a full album. He becomes the sixth NCT member to do so, following Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Ten, and Yuta.
The album announcement was not-so-ordinary. Mark was casually photographed wearing a graphic tee featuring a cartoon of himself and a paprika on the front, with the album scheduler printed on the back. This unique reveal, rarely seen in the industry, perfectly captured MARK’s playful personality. He was later spotted strutting through the airport hallways in the same tee, followed by his fellow NCT 127 members showing their support both in person, through Instagram stories, and by posing in matching shirts, further amplifying the excitement surrounding his solo debut.

Another highlight of The Firstfruit is its connection to four cities that shaped Mark’s life: Toronto, his hometown; New York, where he lived for five years; Vancouver, where he spent his youth; and Seoul, where he realized his dreams as an artist. These cities will serve as thematic sections for the album’s 13 tracks, one of which is a collaboration with Haechan, titled '+82 Pressin’, set for release on March 19.
MARK’s first solo album truly tells the story of the first fruit of his labor and journey that led him here.
We can’t wait for this deeply personal project—an ode to himself—to unfold. Bring it on, MARK!
