SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi Subunit is on its Way!

On Wednesday, February 19 KST, the Hoshi x Woozi subunit’s first single album, BEAM, was announced through a logo reveal and a concept teaser. The album is set to release on March 10 at 6 PM KST, just ten days before SEVENTEEN’s 9th CARAT Land Fan Meeting.

The teaser appears to draw inspiration from futuristic themes with a touch of mystery that CARATs will have to uncover. 

Fans took to social media to express their excitements for this unit. Late last year, rumors about Hoshi and Woozi releasing music together as one unit caused a buzz online, eliciting a positive reaction from fans.

Notably, Hoshi was also Woozi’s inspiration for the vocal team’s song, “Cheers to Youth,” from SEVENTEEN’s 17 is Right Here Best Album. Even a CGI tiger made a special appearance in the music video as a nod to Hoshi.

The duo is definitely booked and busy as they prepare for both their unit debut and SEVENTEEN’s 9th CARAT Land Fan Meeting. They recently wrapped up the 17 Right Here world tour, while Hoshi also completed promotions for BSS’ 2nd Single Album, Teleparty.
