New month, new CARATLAND crying session… or maybe not. Just in time for the rainy days, right?
On July 8, PLEDIS Entertainment officially announced through WeVerse that SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi will be enlisting on September 15, 2025, for active duty in the military.

Hoshi and Woozi, also known as HoWoo, are SEVENTEEN’s most recent unit and part of the group’s ‘97 line. They will be following Jeonghan and Wonwoo, the first 97-liner to enlist, who enlisted in September last year and April this year, respectively.
While they’re the next members to enlist, HoWoo will be the first SEVENTEEN members assigned in active duty as Jeonghan and Wonwoo are serving a special service due to past injuries and eyesight conditions.
But before stepping out of the spotlight for more than a year to fulfill their military duties, they will hold a fan concert tour in Korea – Seoul, Busan, and Gwangju – along with the only overseas stop in Taipei.

After the announcement, Hoshi posted on WeVerse, “헤헷🥰🫡(hehe 🥰🫡),” with Woozi following suit with a brief message. The post reads:
“Don't be too sad
Let's have more fun during the rest of the time
Patting”

Fans took their reactions to social media while joking about Hoshi’s excitement. The group’s performance unit leader is well known for his playful excitement about enlisting, often seen striking saluting poses in various moments.
Come back healthy and happy, HoWoo!
