K-pop’s global takeover continues!
On Wednesday, March 19 (Philippine Time), Lollapalooza announced its roster of performers for this year’s music festival in Chicago on July 31 - August 3, 2025, with the K-pop sensation TWICE as one of its headliners.

For those unfamiliar, Lollapalooza is one of the biggest annual music festivals in the West, showcasing a diverse mix of artists and cultures. Over the years, several K-pop acts have graced its stage, starting with J-Hope, who became the first K-pop soloist to perform at the festival. Other groups such as TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Stray Kids, NJZ (NewJeans), IVE, and SEVENTEEN have also represented the industry. This year, five K-pop groups will continue the legacy.
The K-pop artists performing at Lollapalooza 2025 are:
- TWICE, one of the headliners
- Xdinary Heroes, a Korean rock band
- Katseye, a global girl group from HYBE
- BOYNEXTDOOR, a 4th generation boy group
- KickFlip, a recently debuted 5th gen boy group from JYP Entertainment
With TWICE being the only K-pop group in the headliners and leading the charge and a mix of rock, pop, and fresh rookie groups, this year’s festival is set to be another milestone for K-pop on the global stage!
