2025 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for YG Entertainment and all our YG stan bepeus!
On December 2 at 12 midnight KST, YG Entertainment dropped a special announcement video where Yang Hyun Suk spilled the tea on what's coming for their artists in the new year. Spoiler Alert: we've got a lot to look forward to!
First up, TEUMEs, get ready! Yang Hyun Suk shared that TREASURE is gearing up for a comeback in February with a mini album. Their upcoming digital single, "Last Night," coming out on December 5 at 6 PM KST will serve as a pre-release track for that album. But, that's not all, the group will also be releasing a full-length album sometime between July and August, followed by a world tour, kicking off in October!
There's also a big change coming to TREASURE's leadership structure. Starting January 1, Kim Junkyu and Asahi will be stepping into the leadership roles, replacing Jihoon and Hyunsuk. This shift is part of a plan to rotate the group's leader every two to three years. While fans had some mixed feelings about the change, it'll be exciting to see how the dynamic evolve.
Great news for BLINKs too! Yang Hyun Suk confirmed that BLACKPINK will release a new album in 2025 and embark on a world tour. Rosé also confirmed it so, it's safe to say it's official, BLINKs!
But wait, there's more! Other artists like BABYMONSTER, 2NE1, AKMU and WINNER are also expected to drop new albums and head out on world tours next year!
And apparently, there are even more trainees waiting for their big debut, so we might be getting some new faces soon too!
What do you think about these news, bepeus? Are you also excited? Let us know in the comments!
