Last Saturday, November 23, Stray Kids returned to the Philippines for their 3rd World Tour ‘dominATE’ at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Before the concert, despite the hot weather in Bulacan, some STAYs roamed around the venue, generously giving out official and unofficial merchandise, candies, food, and water to their fellow STAYs. Smart also organized a fan zone booth where STAYs could take pictures before the concert started.

Stray Kids dominated the ground with their opening performance of ‘Mountains’, followed by some of their hit songs ‘Thunderous’ and ‘JJAM’. After that, the kids introduced themselves in Filipino, making the crowd go crazy with their Filipino accents. Seungmin also mentioned that they had been in the Philippine Arena last year for the Asia Artist Awards (AAA). They also remembered one of their funny moments when HAN and Seungmin were heading to the toilet when 3RACHA was suddenly announced as the winner, so they had to run back to accept their award. This made Stray Kids and STAYs burst out laughing. After their ment, the kids asked STAYs to stand up for the performance of their next songs, ‘District 9’, and ‘Backdoor’.

Aside from their hot and strong group performances, the members showcased their talents through their unreleased solo performances. STAY’s favorite rockstar, Han, performed his song ‘Hold My Hand’. Lee Know shows his ‘Youth’-ful dance on his solo stage while Seungmin proved he’s one of the best main vocals through his ‘As We Are’ performance. Hyunjin showed off his charisma and told us that life is ‘So Good’ through his song. Bang Chan gifted STAYs a hot and sexy performance through his song ‘Railway’. Meanwhile, I.N proved he’s not a baby anymore with his ‘Hallucination’ performance. Felix showed off his deep voice with his ‘Unfair’ song whereas Changbin hyped everybody like an ‘Ultra’ man.
During their next ments, Stray Kids seriously and unseriously explained what their solo songs are all about. They made fun of each other, making STAYs feel comfortable—like they were just there to hang out. Aside from that, Stray Kids danced to a popular TikTok trend and a Filipino-made song, the Emergency Budots. Bang Chan also mentioned that he tried and enjoyed the Filipino food Kare-kare.
During the concert, Stray Kids were not the only ones who showcased their talents but the STAYs at the concert as well. Filipino STAYs showed that they, too, are powerful dancers through the Dance Challenge, one of the concert segments. There’s also a Karaoke Challenge and every STAY sang their hearts out like it’s their concert. Stray Kids was also amazed when fans gifted them a VCR video showing the memories made between Stray Kids and STAYs. While playing the VCR, everyone started singing ‘Cover Me,’ one of the hardest songs of Stray Kids because of its high notes. The boys were so amazed by the vocals of Filo STAYs that they made them sing their songs ‘Cover Me’ and ‘Stray Kids’ again.
Stray Kids really made sure that their concert was worth the time and money. They performed 34 songs in total which included some of their popular songs ‘God’s Menu’, ‘Chk Chk Boom’, ‘Topline’ and ‘LALALALA’. They also had a live band that spiced up their performances. Their production was so lit that you can tell they spent a lot of time and money to produce that kind of stage. The kids ended their performance with encore songs ‘Chk Chk Boom (Festival Ver.)’ and ‘Megaverse’. The boys don’t usually perform Megaverse as an encore. This just proves that Stray Kids truly enjoyed performing for the Filipino crowd.

Overall, Stray Kids and STAYs made another unforgettable memory through the dominATE in Bulacan concert. The show proved that it’s not the quantity that matters, it’s the love, passion, and connection of the idols and fans to each other. Bang Chan made a promise at the end of the show that they would return to the Philippines for their next tour. Already looking forward to it and we, STAYs, can’t wait for it!
