Chanyeol's love for the Philippines is undeniable, and his frequent visit to Manila prove it! Last year, he visited for the third time to hold his solo fan meeting for PENSHOPPE in December. This time, he graced us with his presence for the “2024 Chanyeol Live Tour: 都市風景 (City-scape) in Manila” on October 19 at the Araneta Coliseum, along with a PENSHOPPE fan sign event held the day before the concert.
Manila marked the third stop of his live tour, following performances in Seoul, South Korea, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in September.
The show started with powerful performances of “Back Again” and “Good Enough,” followed by the heartfelt “Stay With Me,” He also treated the fans to songs like “Minimal Warm,” “Yours,” “Tomorrow,” “Telephone,” “Just Us 2,” “Hasta La Vista,” “Ease Up,” “Nothin,",” and “Clover.” Of course, he didn't forget to perform EXO’s iconic hits “Lotto,” “Tempo,” “Monster,” “Obsession,” “Growl,” and “Hear Me Out.”

One of the most memorable moments of the night was when Chanyeol serenaded EXO-Ls with his cover of Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila” not once, but twice!
The night was filled with laughter, too! During the show, he accidentally ate a piece of confetti while singing. He shared photos of his meal in Manila, and when the fans didn’t scream as loudly as he expected, he playfully asked, “Why are you guys not interested?” He also expressed his deep love for PENSHOPEE saying it wasn’t just because he is their model while fans playfully teased him about it.
It was indeed a night to remember for both EXO-Ls and Chanyeol. He expressed his eagerness to return to the Philippines whenever the opportunity arises, and we can all agree that we would gladly welcome him back with open arms!
