BTS’ comeback, which was expected to happen in 2025, has now been pushed back to 2026 according to HYBE's CFO.
In a recent performance conference call, HYBE’s CFO mentioned that discussions with the global superstars regarding their group activities in 2026 are still ongoing. After BTS' contract renewal in 2023, the label announced that the group would release new music in 2025 once every member had completed their military service.
The CFO also touched on the label's sales projections for the group, stating that while they expect strong sales, they may not reach the levels seen before the members' military enlistments, as other groups have been growing their audiences alongside BTS.

Fans quickly took to social media to express their support, emphasizing that the group deserves some time off after fulfilling their service to their country.
Plans for 2025 individual and group schedules remain unconfirmed. We’re just glad they will all finish fulfilling their service to their country.
What are your thoughts on this, ARMY bepeus? We’ll be waiting for their return in 2025 and looking forward to any new music they may have in store!
